Greek Chic

Mushi Mushi had a fabulous time recently in Crete, one of the most gorgeous Greek islands that I have ever visited..

The week consisted of simple delights- waking every morning to some yoga outside our villa, breakfasts taking in the view of Spinalonga island, sunbathing and snorkelling then yummy cocktails at sunset!

Our Greek palace!

When I was planning my Greek chic getaway wardrobe, I stumbled upon a great Australian label with a great name- Blessed are the Meek! How cool is that? In the pic below I am wearing their harness maxi dress with side split from www.ladyinred.au they have loads of other stuff we fashionistas in the UK can't get our mitts on so I suggest you check 'em out ;)

The dress shows underboobage if you are not careful- so Mushi recommends booby tape to keep things nicely strapped in!

Neon is one of my major loves right now as well (takes me back to when I attempted this trend the first time around aged circa 13 on a pocket money budget!! Still- I did pretty well and still have the fluro pink studded belt I bought back in 80's.)

I love this Pied a Terre green bag = it has a slight crocodile texture to it and amazingly goes with so many outfits- particularly great back in rainy Blighty with just simple black and white..

Also  on the Neon topic, I love his dress I got from Zara Summer 2013 collection.... They had it in a padded sweater you could wear with jeans or a little skirt but I like the dress best :0

Henley Night

Hey Mushettes I am quite liking monochrome right now (well it is my signature panda colours) especially after seeing Beyoncé rock it in all the fash mags recently. She had on simple tailored black pants and a monochrome vest top, athletic style and ankle strap stiletto sandals- all with her hair slicked back and a slick of red lipstick, so fresh so modern!

I wore this ensemble for a night out on the vino with my hubby in Henley recently- the look is as follows: Bag- Pied a Terre Top- Zara Jeans- Mother The Looker in a Model Spy Blazer- Zara., Shoes- Zara

Tom binns homage

Tom binns homage by Mushimushialamode
Tom binns homage, a photo by Mushimushialamode on Flickr.

I love Tom BInns, FAllon, Eddie Borgo and all the fabulous studded, skull adorned bright jewellery that is en vogue right now, but at£300 upward can be a little ouchy on panda's purse strings...
SO MUshi has DIYEd this bauble herself.....
I bought a few vintage paste necklaces on EBay, used my trusty jewelry making kit from Hobbycraft and armed myself with a popping pink neon nail polish from Superdrug.
Simply add a few coats of the nail polish to selected stones and voila... The magic appears.
To add the finishing touches I added a few darling little baby silver skulls i got off EBay. Edgy jewels on a lemonade budget!
Enjoy my fur babies!

Neon earring candy yum yum

Hi Mushetts!
I thought ID share with you my favourite new beauty find - Mac Candy Yum Yum lipstick!
This great neon shade of pink looks awesome with just a feline flick of kohl and a touch of bronzed to warm up your complexion...
I styled it with these HM chandelier beauties to complete this fun Spring look.
